Bay Prospector Pro

Type of Program: Internet Agent for eBay
Supported Platforms: Win98/ME/NT 4x/XP/2000
Company Name: Bay Prospector
Version: 1.0
Price: $39
Installed Size: 14.2 Mb
The first decision you are going to have make before you even
install Bay Prospector is whether you need to download the version with
Microsoft .NET 1.1 or not. The difference is that the version without Microsoft
.NET is a 4.8 Mb download. The version with Microsoft .NET is 25.9 Mb. ( You
need the Microsoft .NET version 1.1 installed.) What I did was to download the
version without Microsoft .NET version 1.1. After I had it downloaded and tried
the install it informed that I needed Microsoft .NET version 1.1 and sent me to
the Microsoft page to get it.
Okay lets get to the nits and gritties. This is just what it says a tool for
eBay, a prospector. Who needs this program? Well you don't need it or at least
it isn't a must if you only use eBay twice a year. Though with it's sniper
feature if those couple of times a year are spent bidding on items that cost
over say $100 you just might save the price of Bay Prospector on one bid alone.
The reason is that Bay Prospector can place a bid for you seconds before an
auction closes. I've lost a couple of auctions myself to people using this kind
of tool.
The person who will drool in delight about Bay Prospector is the person who uses
eBay a lot. It will really get your auctions organized in a tree type fashion so
that you can see at a glance what is going on. Take my word for it this is a
eBayers tool deluxe. There are tools so that you really breathe easier and win
auctions. There is an email tool that will email you when certain events take
place, there is the Manage Bids window that will show you the auctions you are
currently bidding on and their status at a glance. There are also Popup
reminders.
In conclusion. Bay Prospector is an essential tool of the serious eBayer. It has
everything you need to be a serious competitive bidder. And hey it is a fully
featured 30 day trial version. I'll bet that if you try it, you will buy it!
