The install is routine and intuitive. You can put the program files anywhere you want.

If you haven't heard of PhotoFlair it is about time the news got out. The Retinex part of the software was originally developed for satellite remote-sensing applications, then commercially licensed to TruView Imaging for use in enhancing digital snapshots.

So this is not some rinky dink software that may or may not make your photos look better. This is the Real McCoy! You really can't live without it. I guarantee it.

There are all kinds of tools included in PhotoFlair for editing images too. But where it really shines is image enhancement. I found out that using the defaults did the job for me.

Take a look around. Just unbelievable, huh!

Well it works. Go download it, install it then load in a .tiff image. Now look up at the top little icons tools. On the right hand of that area you will see the two we are looking for. One of them has a little tree and RX the other a head and a RX. These are your Retinex tools. One is for portraits the other for landscapes. Guess which is which...

Now press the appropriate one and be prepared for your socks to be knocked off!

In conclusion this is the best image enhancement program there is. If you try it you'll buy it.
