First off lets's get this out of the way. Is the LITE version fully functional?
Yes, but it is limited to 20 pages, and a "Created with CDFrontEnd" label is inserted at the bottom of each page.

So what do you do and what do you get? Well what you do is create a auto-run cd with links in a document that can do all sorts of things. Like in it's simplest form you can create a single page with a number of documents linked to it. Here is an example:

You can then hyperlink to the individual documents. That is a simple sample. You can link to .exe's you can link to a .pdf file almost anything.

The beauty of this program is that the computer running the program doesn't need a browser installed to run the program. Or anything else installed either. They can just pop the CD into their computer and everything is right there.

Another thing that really makes CD FrontEnd a great program is that it is WYSIWYG so that it is really easy to make these autorun cd's.

In conclusion. I think that you will find that CD FrontEnd is just what the doctor ordered! Go get the Lite version, kick the tires, I'm sure that you will agree.
