In my position I have had to test lots of download managers and I will say without hesitation that GetRight is the best. The first clue you might get is that it is at version 5+. Of course just because something has been around for awhile doesn't make it good. But in this case it does.

Yes GetRight does the usual things that you expect from a Download Manager. Like break the file up into parts to speed up the download and if you get disconnected or cut off from the site it will resume the download. But it also does it more intuitively than the others. Plus it does other stuff to, like has a built in GetRight Browser so that you can organize your downloads. It also will let you set it up so that any downloads will be virus checked. Also it will help you out with those sites you download from that require a login/password by letting you put the information in once and then GetRight will remember it.

There is lots of other stuff to like it will speed up downloads by finding mirror servers. And it will also help optimize your internet connection.
