This is spam control at its best. I have reviewed and used other spam blockers which are first class, but MailMate exceeds all of them. The filtering uses the message subject, sender and content of the email and can also filter by country, attachment and several other common spam techniques like Java applets, ActiveX content, IFrames and others.. You can ban whole domains and MailMate can bounce back unwanted e-mails (with a choice of 3 bso it looks as if your email address is not valid. This will make the sender think your address is no longer active so your name can be removed from their list. This unique feature is great for privacy and it couldn't be simpler!

MailMate runs right out of the box and the makers claim a 97% reduction of spam on a basic install and I back them on that. In case you are worried about losing wanted emails, don't, MailMate puts all unauthorized emails in quarantine where you can view them safely and decide which you want to authorize. You don't have to alter your regular email client, MailMate sets everything up for you and you can import your address book to MailMates' friendly list. MailMate automatically cleans your Inbox when you open your email client software. MailMate is fast, easy and intelligent! I can think of no other anti-spam solution that offers so many features, or is as easy to set up and use. MailMate works with all POP3 email clients such as Outlook Express, Eudora, Incredimail, Pegasus, Mozilla, Netscape, Becky!, The Bat, etc.

This is a truly effective spam blocker and a definite "Can't do without" program. I urge you to try it.
