Defraging who cares? My computer hard drive is big I don't have to that stuff
anymore. Wrong Again! You really do have defrag your hard drives. If you don't
your computer will slow down and really won't work right. Maybe you have noticed
that the first thing the computer repair person does is defrag the computer. So
you should be doing it too.
We might as well get this straight right now Diskeeper is the 800 pound gorilla
of disk defragmentation. Nothing else really does the job like it does. I should
know I've tested the others and Diskeeper is the one that I have used for some
years now for my computer.
Here are some of the things that I like about Diskeeper. The scheduler is first,
the reason is that using the scheduler I only really have to setup Diskeeper
once and then the scheduler does the work while I sleep. Other good things are
that you can actually pause the defraginging, it will do boot time
defragmentation. The biggest things though are the speed with which Diskeeper
works and that you can actually be defraging while you work and your system will
not come to a complete halt like most other defraging programs. That isn't to
say that I recommend you defrag while you work. I recommend you use the
scheduler and defrag daily while you sleep like I do.
In conclusion Diskeeper is the best software there is for defraging your
computer hands down! You need it so go out and buy it.
