time ago and was mightily impressed then but Gliftic 4 is totally outstanding in
the production, with consummate ease, of web page backgrounds, quilts,CD Labels,
photo frames, Windows wallpaper, dolls house wallpaper and textiles for real and
virtual worlds amongst other things.
Gliftic 4 has five new Forms and five new Interpretations plus these new
features, Multiple Image Generation, Maximum images in a sequence increased to
250 images, Maximum size of image increased to 3500 pixels, more ready made
Color Schemes. Longer image sequences (up to 200 images per sequence), Dynamic
previews in the form dialog boxes, Forms can be exported as tiled or untiled
PostScript files, exported forms can contain ellipses, Pixel Zoom icons on the
toolbar, You can tickle the image from the keyboard (control-F7) and user forms
can also be AutoCAD 14 and AutoCAD 2000 DXF files.
It is still remarkably easy to use, one click of a button and you have your
first image, which is size adjustable using either presets or custom settings,
and you can then experiment with by using the Form, Color and Interpretation
controls which believe you me is a lot simpler than it sounds. In each one there
are options to have Full Auto, Auto and Tickle and set. Full auto changes only
that element i.e color, Auto retains the setting for the element you are in
whilst changing the other two and tickle and set makes only subtle changes to
all three which overall gives you limitless opportunities. The program will
retain up to 250 images so you can scan back and select the ones you want . You
can also use your own images as a colour basis so that any graphic you generate
will use the colours from that image, very handy for creating matching frames
etc.
This software is capable of producing stunning graphics within seconds and
anyone can use it, graphics knowledge is not required and there are plenty of
Tutorials both on and offline if you really feel the need. Outstanding value for
the price.
