The installation of Auction Sentry Deluxe is easy and intuitive.
You can place the program files where you want them. It puts a icon on your
desktop.
When you first start Auction Sentry Deluxe you get a screen that informs you
that you have 10 days to try out the program. Fair enough.
Then you are taken to a readme file that you should at least glance at to see if
any of the issues there concern you.
After that the main screen of Auction Sentry Deluxe opens up. You should notice
that the default place your insertion point is where you can insert the number
of a eBay auction. So what to do next? Well how about insert an eBay auction
number there?
Yes Virginia it is that simple. After you put the auction number in a small
window will open and it will ask you "Would you like to enter profit tracking
information for this auction? This is an option for sellers.
So what if you want to bid on auction? Ok I guess that might happen.. All you
have to do is right click an auction and pick the option "Bid on this Auction".
Sounds too easy doesn't it? Well it is that easy.
But that doesn't mean that this is a simple program that is only of use to watch
eBay auctions. No siree Auction Sentry Deluxe can view auctions in it's own
browser, it can take you right to the bid history page, plus the thing that you
really want Auction Sentry Deluxe for. It can bid on eBay auctions for you. It
can also "snipe" ie place a bid seconds before the end of an auction.
Here are some of the other things that Auction Sentry Deluxe will do. It will
let you organize your auctions into categories (like your antique auctions, you
