The installation of dvdSanta is easy and intuitive. Not only can you place the program files where you want them it also gives you the option of installing a Desktop icon and a Quick Launch icon.

First off lets get one thing straight this is not some startup buggy software that is going to confuse you or crash every time you turn around.

dvdSanta bills it self rightly as "The easiest way to create your own DVD!"

The first screen you get when opening dvdSanta is where you pick out your task. The choices are Video Files to DVD, Photo Slide Show to DVD, Digital Camcorder to DVD, and Disk Image or DVD video folder to DVD.

I first tried out the Video Files to DVD and I was impressed not only with the ease of use but also the advanced options available.

Then I tried the Photo Slide Show to DVD. Once again easy to use but it has the advanced features. (Some of them are: The ability to do Panning and Zooming all kinds of different transition effects, plus of time that photos show, transition time. Plus you can even record a narration!

I was unable to try out the Digital Camcorder to DVD since I don't have a camcorder.

The Disc Image or DVD video folder to DVD was also simplicity itself.

BTW I almost forgot to mention the multi-language abilty of dvdSanta. Fourteen languages.

The only limitation on the trial version is it will show "Demo Version" text on the output video.

In conclusion the people at ZY Computing have got a real winner on their hands with dvdSanta. The simplicity of use, plus with the advanced feature available make this an outstanding piece of software.
