The installation of Compare and Merge is easy and intuitive. You can place the program files where you want them and it asks if you want put Compare and Merge in Explorer menu. I choose Yes. This means that when you are using Windows Explorer you can right click on a file and you will see "Compare" in the context menu.

There is a limit to how long you can evaluate Compare and Merge. The trial period ends after 50 comparisons. After that, certain features of Compare and Merge become disabled.

Compare and Merge is used to compare text files, find the differences and edit them.
