The installation of SI-Metric Office is easy and intuitive. You can put the program files anywhere you want.

The people at ButterflyVista call SI-Metric Office a Swiss Army knife desktop utility. That describes it well. What you get is a whole bunch of really useful time-savers. There is a Time and Task Reminder that is so great it will knock your socks off! It alone is worth the price of the program. Not only is it simplicity itself to setup it will even talk to you! Yes if you want to put in a reminder at 8am every day to wake up the kids, at 8am it will say to you "Wake up the kids". Neat huh? It will also say the time for you at intervals you can specify.

There is also World Clock that has a map where you can put up the times of up to 18 the worlds large cities. Plus there is a window for four world cities times that will show you both a digital and analog clock, plus the date. You can of course pick out the cities. It also will synchronize your clock with a atomic time server.

Then there is the conversion utility. Now that one has so many unit conversions arranged in a book type fashion (like all of SI-Metric Office) that I felt stupid because I didn't have a clue what most of them were. Suffice it to say that if you need to convert it SI-Metric Office will do it.

You use the default colors for SI-Metric Office or re-deign it to suit yourself. Nice touch.

In conclusion SI-Metric Office is one of those must have desktop utilities. The people at ButterflyVista give you 21 days to try it out. I predict that you will be so hooked on it that you will pay for it a lot sooner than that.
