First of all you should know this: If you are trying to recover
a file that has already been deleted, you must buy the full product, as the
trialware does not include the direct-from-disk recovery available in the retail
version.
After Undelete is installed a new folder will appear on each of your drives
called RecoveryBin. This is the default you can change it so that you use one
recovery bin for all drives.
Here is the real skinny on Undelete. The reason that you want to use Undelete
rather that the recycle bin are these. It does a better job, first of all. There
are files that get deleted that the recovery bin misses. There are more options
with Undelete. You can really set it up so that it meets your needs to a T. And
last but not least the biggy, Undelete will work on your server. That's right
you can control from one computer the recovery of remote files. A real bonus for
any IT department.
In conclusion Undelete is a much better tool that your Recovery bin, and it
works on servers, plus the interface is such that the recovery of files is
really intuitive and doesn't require a degree in nerdness. I heartily recommend
it.
