The installation of CATraxx is easy and intuitive. You can place the program files where you want.

When you open CATraxx for the first time you find out that the version you downloaded is good for 30 days and 50 albums. Fair enough.

Also the first time it opens you will see a sample database and the Help file will open to a Getting Started menu.

That sample database is going to blow your socks off! Yes if you have been looking for a program that will keep track of your music collection you are going to think that you have died and gone to heaven.

CATraxx will manage your cassettes, MP3s, CD's and LP. It connects automatically to the CDDB music database on the internet to get information about your CD. It has all of the goodies that others lack, it will attach image files to your collection, add your personal comments. Plus it has fields for entering all kinds of other info like artist name, release date, price paid, current value and on and on. It also can create reports. Do you loan albums out? It will even keep track of that info too.

You are going to be impressed with CATraxx's interface not only does it look real cool but it makes accessing your data a snap. No wonder CATraxx is the industry standard for music organizers.
