The installation of Google Search, Clock & Date is different
than you are probably used to. Instead of you saving the download somewhere and
then installing the program and the program being installed to a folder on your
hard drive, you save Google Search, Clock & Date to your desktop and run it from
there.
Now that I have got you completely confused, you can also if you want put the
executable into a folder somewhere on your computer then make a shortcut to it
and place that on your desktop or your start/all programs.
Ok now that that is all done what the heck does Google Search, Clock & Date do
for you? Well just look at the screenshot above and that about tells the whole
story. So you run Google Search, Clock & Date that window above opens up you
type in your search terms and the results open up in Internet Explorer. Notice
that I say they open in Internet Explorer, I assume that is going to happen even
if your default browser is something else. The reason I say i assume that they
will only in Internet Explorer is that my default browser is not Internet
Explorer and that is where my results pop-up.
In conclusion Google Search, Clock & Date can make it easier to get to a Google
Search, plus it will give you the time and date, and it is free. Hard to go
wrong, so I suggest that you try it out, it might just turn out be a very useful
tool for you.
