Mozilla Firefox

The installation of Firefox is easy and intuitive. You can place
the program files where you want. Plus when you first open Firefox you are
prompted to import your Internet Explorer bookmarks.
So what is all the hype about? Well probably most of what you have heard is
untrue. First of all I'm pretty sure that Firefox is no cure-all for internet
security. What it does is block the loading of harmful ActiveX controls.
Internet Explore now does too.
But there are other advantages. The two big ones are the tabbed interface and
the popup blocker. In my mind the tabbed interface is what really is going to
make your internet browsing experience much easier and more effective. If you
don't know what that is it is where you can open new web pages in the same
browser in a new window. Then you will have a tab at the top of the browser for
each of those pages you have open.
In conclusion yes Firefox is a better browser than Internet Explorer, it is free
so go it!
