If you want to build a web site and know nothing about HTML then
this is the software you need. I occasionally design sites professionally and I
am using Antenna Web Design Studio now.
It is a stunningly simple to use piece of software that will have you designing
pro quality sites in no time. A genuine WYSIWYG program that allows you to just
drag and drop and position items exactly where you want them and virtually
everything is done with a mouse click.
Antenna comes complete with powerful graphics capabilities letting you design
and create high-quality button graphics and gradients with Antenna's built in
Button and Gradient Lab utilities. Web pages can be built in layers and there is
an inclusive Style Editor with a very easy to use interface that anyone could
use regardless of their ability. You can build your web pages in layers, place
related items on the same layer, add new layers, overlap items and change layer
opacity for translucent effects. You can create rollover buttons and special
effects such as Shadows, motion blur, neon, water again with just a mouse click.
There is the ability to add AVI, MPEG, QuickTime and Flash to your page simply
by drag and drop and there is a built in FTP publisher.
As if this isn't enough there is also automatic link updating if you move your
files around, all text and image objects support the facility to change their
content based on language - so you can easily create and maintain multilingual
sites from a single design and advanced users can add custom HTML code and
Javascript, and even create completely new object types using Antenna's HTML
plugin system.
I have tried many, many WYSIWYG site builders and believe me this one just blows
the competition away. How do they do it for the price? It's only $49.99/£24.99.
