The installation of the IM Radio is not what you normally see. Because IM Radio is only for use on the internet over a network you have to choose a username and password. Plus supply a email address and where you live. You do not get a choice as to where the program files are installed.

Ok lets get a couple of things clear right away. First of all anytime you are using software that is primarily for use over the internet you must be concerned with privacy issues. Whenever I install this type of software I always read their privacy agreement and EULA. I found nothing in IM Radio that bothered me. Next you can only use IM Radio on a broadband internet connection.

Now that I've got that stuff out of the way let me tell you IM Radio Rocks! The people at Mercora have done a tremendous job with IM Radio with it not only can you listen to all types of music, but the search capabilities are there too. You can search by artist, and genre. Plus you can search for an artist biography and images of an artist. You can also search for Podcasts.

That's not all either you can have fiends list and make up a network, then you can be a DJ (disc jockey) to others on the network. You can create playlists and this is really neat you can record music for later listening (time shifting).

Here I've just give you the main points there are others too.

In conclusion, if you are into music or Podcasting and you have a broadband internet connection you had better go and get IM Radio right now! You will love it!
