Ok lets get some things clear. First of all what does MaxiVista do? Well what it does is it allows you to use the monitor(s) on another computer(s) on your network as if it is attached to a video card on your system. I imagine the most common use is to use the screen on a laptop computer as a secondary monitor. That is what I use it for.

Remember that you must have a network to use MaxiVista.

The installation starts out by asking you how many extended displays (virtual monitors) you want to install. Obviously this is an important question, and I'm sure that you have the answer readily at hand..

You will also have to answer the question of whether you want MaxiVista to automatically start with your system. In my case since I don't use it 100% of the time I answered no.

After you have the server portion installed on your computer MaxiVista will then create the viewer portion and place it on your desktop. You then have to take that and place it on the desktop of the computer you want to use as a virtual monitor. Then when you want to use that computer's screen as another monitor on your system you run the server portion on your main computer and the viewer program on the computer whose monitor you want to use.

Now the only thing you have left to do is to go to the Desktop on your main computer, right click any blank place, click on properties, then click on the Settings tab. There you will see all of your monitors, just drag them around until they are in the proper alignment to each other and you are done.

Now lets take a look at the amazing things about MaxiVista. First of all I'm amazed that it works at all. I don't think it is an accident that MaxiVista has this field of software all to themselves. I think they must be geniuses to get this to work at all, let alone as good as they have done. In my experience Nothing that involves networking ever works smoothly the first time, or the second time or the.. But MaxiVista in my experience works first time every time. In my case it had to get through my two software firewalls, my hardware firewall, and then find the laptop on the WiFi network. It did it in a heartbeat.

In this new version you can control up to four computers with one single keyboard and mouse.

In conclusion MaxiVista just keeps getting better and better. It is one of the useful programs that I have ever seen. Also I must mention that MaxiVista has some of the best support I have seen.

Look run, don't walk and get MaxiVista today!
