This screensaver is very simple. A blue and white globe slowly rrotates on your screen. It shows the weather around the world..

The screensaver accesses the servers several times an hour, making the weather current within 2 hours.

The information is downloaded from the NOAA [National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration] then it is mapped onto polar coordinates on their servers and uploaded to the screensaver.
