Fair enough.
You find out as soon as you first start PDF to Excel that they really want to
make sure that you understand how to use the software.
In the left hand side you will find options to see a movie about how to open a
file into PDF to Excel and a link to read the Help file on opening a file. If
you choose to see the movie (My recommendation) you will go online and actually
get to the beginning of a movie tutorial.
Ok so the next thing for me to do was take PDF to Excel around the block and
kick the tires. So off I went in search of PDF tables to convert to Excel. I
found that the US Government has a "wealth" of them. First of all I did take the
short movie tutorial.
Here were my results. I was AMAZED! Even after viewing the movie tutorial I
still found it hard to believe how easy PDF to Excel makes it to convert PDF
tables into Excel. The interface is perfect, the Movie is really helpful, and if
you need more help, the Help file is very complete. What you do is draw an area
with your mouse around the table you want to convert, then PDF to Excel will in
most cases immediately find all the columns and data and place them into a
table. With very few moves of a mouse you will be able to make more columns and
make the data fit the way you want it. Then quick as two shakes of a lamb's tail
you can:
Open Excel and convert the data into a new worksheet
Convert the data to a new Excel File
To the Clipboard as Text
To the Clipboard as an Excel table.
To the Clipboard as a Microsoft Word Table
In conclusion PDF to Excel is excellent software, it does the job in a really
effective manner. Plus the Movie, the interface and the Help file should be held
up to developers as how a good piece of software works.
