Ok, so you've gotten past the install procedure. Now when you go into Start/All Programs/Diamond Cut Audio/ there are two choices, either you as usual ignore all Help or using your brain for a change click on the "Audio Mentor Getting Started Guide". Or you just run Audio Mentor. Listen (ok it's a bad pun) the Getting Started Guide is only 4 pages and it is useful.

When you first run Audio Mentor you are informed that the downloaded version is running in Demo mode, but fully functional for 5 days. Fair enough.

By going through the Demo routine you will better understand the mechanics of Audio Mentor, plus you will certainly be impressed with the capabilities of Audio Mentor.

Lets go through what Audio Mentor is for, it is for cleaning up Audio files of all types, the noise coming from records, tapes, files, or for that matter any other source. It will also encode your source files into mp3 and burn them to a cd.

It has two things going for it. They are that it really does do the job of cleaning up noise, and it is really easy to use. When you are trying to get your record, tape etc cleaned up you can actually preview what the finished product will sound like and tweak it until it is just perfect. Then at the push of a button you can put those cleaned up songs onto a cd if you want.

In conclusion if you have records, tapes or music files that need cleaning, run don't walk and get Audio Mentor it will surely do the job for you.
