The installation of Spartan is easy and intuitive. You can place the program files where you want them.

The first time you run Spartan the Html Help opens and gives you an explanation of how Spartan works. Take a look here:

What happens is that every time you copy something to the clipboard Spartan adds it to a storage area represented by the chart above. When you want to reuse anything you have placed in Spartan you just take your mouse pointer and click on the area of Spartan where the data is and it will be pasted into the application you are currently using. Text that you have copied into Spartan is represented by the first few words of whatever you copied, graphic files will just say Graphic Clip. To see what is in that Graphic Clip you just hover your mouse over the chosen "Graphic Clip" and a preview window pops up showing the graphic. The same thing is true for text that you have placed in Spartan.

Refer once again to that screen shot above. The yellow area is a temporary area called the multi-clipboard. It holds 25 clips, when it is full the oldest one is dropped off. The white areas are for permanent collections that you keep stuff that you use over and over. There are also Special Function Buttons that you use for phone dialing, emailing and opening web addresses.

Spartan also lets you arrange data in ways that are useful for you.

In conclusion if you are not using some kind of Multi-Clipboard program you are really missing out and Spartan could be just the one for you!
