The installation of ViceVersa PRO is easy and intuitive. You can place the program files where you want them. At the end of the installation you are given the opportunity to decide whether or not you want a Quick Launch or Desktop Icon. This is a nice touch, too much software these days doesn't give you a choice and installs their icon/shortcuts without asking.

When you start up ViceVersa PRO you are informed that you get a full 30 day trial period.

The first thing I did was see how fast ViceVersa PRO would compare a whole bunch of files and find the differences. It compared 273,000 files in 5 minutes and 30 seconds. It did that with the source file being on a fixed drive and the target files being on a USB drive. Now that is really impressive!

Their "compare" interface is really impressive too. Take a look at this Screenshot and you will see what I mean.

One of the things that ViceVersa PRO will do that is impressive is that you can have it do a whole bunch of things at once, save that "profile" and do that profile and others on a scheduled basis. It works with networks, networked drives, fixed drives and removable drives.

Take a look at the Main Window Screenshot and you will get an idea of how you can setup multiple tasks at the same time.

Plus of course you can use ViceVersa PRO to do simple backup too.

In conclusion the folks at TGRMN Software have come up with a great product. This is the software that administrators, software engineers and even web authors will droll over.

Hey you get a full 30 days to put it through it's paces - bet that you will buy it long before that..
