Computer Census is a program for computer professionals for diagnosing problems. What it does is it finds out everything about a computer and outputs that information to both a text file and a Microsoft Access file.

Did I say "Everything about a Computer" yep that's what I said and I mean it. Here is what LAD Enterprizes Inc says:

And it gets better. First of for the home-user, for you it essentially free. (Free to inventory up to 3 computers sequentially in a session) Next is the size of the program, it will fit on a floppy.

For the Professional Technician or IT department's with smaller networks it should be cause for jumping up and down with joy. There are three reasons why, it can inventory remote computers, in other words it can inventory a whole network at once, the inventory (the amount of information) is incredible, and it is really, really fast! It did my entire computer system with 4 drives and terabyte of storage in less than a minute.

The support is really good too. There is a great pdf manual, plus a Help in the program itself.
