File Viewer is a utility which helps you find and view files which are in common in MS Windows. Upon opening the program you are greeted with an explanation of what the program does and The file formats it can handle. Some of the file formats File Viewer can handle are: PNG, JPG, CMP, TXT, LST, BAT, SYS, RTF, HTML, SHTML, DOC, PDF, ASF that's just to name a few.

It even handles audio files like .Wav and .Mp3 through a playback feature. Looking at the interface for the program it can seem a bit daunting but the icons in the program all have text explanations when you mouse over them and an extensive help file is in place should you ever find yourself in need of it.

File Viewer just has too many features to list and every one of them seems to be well documented. To give you an example, I opened a picture I had stored in my documents and of course File Viewer let me view the picture. It also gave me a plethora of options like: adjusting brightness, contrast, color depth or removing red eye, inverting the colors(which I enjoyed) as well as more basic things like flip, rotate and zoom.

A few other features of this program I can name that caught my eye are: the ability to work with batch files, create and print play lists, and cataloging a disk or drive. I am really impressed with this program, and it gives users a fully functional 45 day trial to see if they like it or not.

This utility is one I intend to keep using even after the review is finished and its one that I think anyone looking for a file viewer should certainly try!
