LaunchOnFly is a Freeware program to use as a start menu alternative. When I started the program I was greeted by the quick start guide which walks you through many of the programs functions before you use it. Using this program you can launch, open or view files with a single click. Besides being able to access this program from the system tray where it resides you can also access it by bumping the mouse against the upper left hand side of the screen.

When activated LaunchOnFly offers quick access to some of the more commonly used locations on your computer such as C:\, My computer, My Documents, and add and remove programs. It also adds quick access to your Internet properties(IE settings) and the add remove programs screen.
In the settings menu you can add additional shortcuts and toggle options such as whether or not the program runs each time you start your computer.

While the program is free there are a few places you're asked to donate money to the programs author(such as in the settings menu). I think this little application might deserve a price tag however, as it doesn't have one its an exceptional value and certainly worth a second look.

Finally I checked out the programs website. The website is clean and the author even takes suggestions for future versions. However the help section of the website is not in place yet so for support you'd probably need to send the author an email.
