Advanced File Shredder is a program used to remove traces of unwanted programs or files so they can not be recovered. AFS(Advanced File Shredder) is a compact program designed to do one thing delete files in such a manner so they cannot be recovered even using recovery software.

The programs Authors claim that using the program things deleted by it can not be recovered and that they use government standard shredding. I don't know how accurate their claims are but when I used it to delete a file, and tried recovering it with my old file recovery software(Lost & Found) I could not get back the things I deleted with AFS.

The program itself is very straight forward and easy to use, Just select the files you want shredded, and press the shred button. A help file is included here, but since the program is so straight forward I don't think anyone will find much of a need for it.

Theres nothing fancy here, just a simple file shredder that apparently does its job fairly well.
