Active desktop is a program that adds some information to your windows desktop. The program starts up and displays a large clock on your desktop which replaces your Windows wallpaper.

There are buttons to easily access your program files, documents, empty your Recycle bin, shut down or restart the PC as well as an options button through which you can configure the program options.

One problem I had with this program, is it keeps making my Windows task bar disappear. This is a bit annoying, however its cured with a button press so if you want something different for your Windows interface that might be a sacrifice you're willing to make.

I couldn't find a help file, however the program seems simple enough to use so hopefully you won't need one.

The price here is pretty good, if your looking for this type of software it might not be a bad little application to try as it seems to do what it was intended to.
