Active keyboard is a program used to create hot keys and quick launch programs. The program supports multiple languages and seems to offer a variety of options. Some of the included preset options are controlling the PC system sound, opening/closing the cd tray and shutting down or restarting the computer. From the main screen you can add new hot keys

Or files to be launched on a certain keystroke or sequence. You can of course also delete preexisting ones so your free to correct any mistakes you may make along the way. When you are done setting things up the way you want them, just click the x in the top right corner and the program goes off to live in the system tray so you don't even notice it until you want to see it again. Active keyboard includes a full help file if you need it and the controls all seem fairly run of the mill and easy to use.

The cost is a little more then you might expect to pay but its a descent piece of software for anyone looking to save time or customize their PC a little.
