ArtCursors is a program usefull for creating or edition cursors. It starts up and reminds you with a nag screen you have 30 days to try the program.

Then ArtCursors goes in to a GUI reminiscent of MS paint. There are a few more tools at your disposal here then paint though including a tool for painting just the even pixels or applying a gradient.

The application includes a variety of options as well, through pulldown menus. Some of the included options are applying photoshop style effects, toggling image transparency, or flipping the image. In my testing I opened a cursor that was in the windows folder, sort of a blueish color and inverted the colors and just generally tinkered with the program.

While I'm not a graphics guru I could still use the program fairly well within seconds of opening it which is a good sign. A help file is included here, so the program only has one stumbling block which would be its price.

I personally think its a little hefty for a program that only handles cursors and cons but if your looking for this type of application this one does everything a cursor or icon editor should.
