NewStartMenu is a program which replaces your default Windows Start Menu with a new one.

I started the program and was greeted with a nag screen and wait timer, which reminded me the software wasn't free. I mention this not because its overly burdening, I just really dislike wait timers.

My start menu starts up after your wait and asks you if you want to use the normal Windows Start Menu, or the one the program creates. Switching back and forth is easy enough however you have to create your new start menu from scratch.

It doesn't automatically import things from your Windows menu or even offer you the option to import manually. If you want to set up your own start menu you can, and its not overly complicated to do. It will however take some time to do, as you have to manually add items one at a time.

The program doesn't have a lot of options, but one I did see and like was the ability to rename your start button to what ever you like. If you really can't stand the windows start menu, or if you really want to customize your menu this might be an okay program and the price isn't too bad.

There is no Helpfile, so if you get lost you'll need to look to the companies website, but again things in this program are fairly easy to use so it may not be needed.
