Email Arrival Notifier is a program used to notify you of new mail as it arrives. The program sets up pretty easily and provides you an account setup wizard to input all your account settings.

From the configuration screen you can setup how often the program checks for new mail and then tell it to notify you via popup message or sound, or both when new mail comes in. The program lives in your system tray and really does go mostly unnoticed until new mail arrives or you bring it up to change something.

Overall Email Arrival Notifier works well enough, however when I review these I keep asking myself, "Why use this kind of thing when my email client does all this for me"? The only answer I keep coming up with is maybe if someone uses web mail and actually logs in via web form this type of thing could be useful.

For the rest of us you can probably pass and not loose any sleep that you might miss the next "Your approved..." message right when it arrives.
