 PECompact is a program primarily for software authors used to compress and encrypt runtime executables. PECompact is a pretty easy to use program for creating compressed executables.

The program only offers a 7 day trial but does let you test it and compress things to see if it meets your needs. I got a small file which was about 20k before compression and it compressed it to about 8 which seems to be a fairly good job and comparable to upx compression or aspack.

There's not a lot of bells and whistles to this program it is what it is, a file compressor. The benefits to compressing your end user files are tamper resistance, size compression and in some cases a decrease in load time.

If your a programmer and are looking for a easy way to compress your creations PECompact is a seemingly reliable option that's probably worth a try.
