Winmount is a virtual drive type program which also handles some other files. Among the file types Winmount can handle are iso, BIN, MDS, ZIP, RAR, NRG, BWT and CDI.

It mounts any of these to a temporary virtual drive which is all well and good. Now here is the down side which the company forgets to mention when you install the program and mount an image the first time the program likes to reboot your whole computer. Which can be mildly annoying if you're say, oh, I don't know, writing a software review and doing several other things which you haven't saved.

After the reboot the program does seem to work all right and do pretty well as far as resources and handling its own virtual drive go.

I would also mention however that at the top of the program it says and I quote, "Winmount Trail Versioin" that's not my typo, that is theirs. It looks overall like someone hurried to get the program on the virtual shelf and didn't clean a few things up.

Winmount is all right as far as friendliness and functionality go. However, it could use some tweaking and the price could be a bit cheaper for no more polished then it is.
