results in coloring B/W photos, sketches, anime and manga as well as change
colors only in defined areas of the picture. It works equally well for coloring
of portraits, landscapes, fashion, and still life. The preset skin, sky,
greenery, and tree color patterns help users to select realistic colors for
their picture and up and until now was only available as a plugin requiring
photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Corel
Photo-Paint, Paint Shop pro, Bodypaint, etc.
As usual with Akvis software it is a very simple process you take the Pencil
tool, select a color and draw a rough outline within the area to be colorized;
the program recognizes the borders and paints in the new color keeping the tone
transitions. No layers manipulation, no manual painting! There are many preset
color types for skin, eyes, fabrics, wood etc. or you can define your own. The
ability to change colors rapidly makes it ideal for interior and exterior
designers to try different color schemes on screen or you could see what you
would look like with a change of hair color, the possibilities are huge.
This is impressive software and has the usual high quality Akvis tutorials and
support supplied and I highly recommend it.
