added a stand-alone application that also supports the HDRI technology that
allows expanding the dynamic range of an image. So apart from the excellent
enhancer mode the stand-alone application supports the HDRI (High Dynamic Range
Image) technology that allows expanding the dynamic range of an image. This
involves taking photos of the same subject at different exposures and then
opening the images in stand alone Enhancer in HDR mode and previewing the
resultant image which will have been composed using the different exposures to
obtain the best result. All aspects are customisable.
In enhancer mode you will be surprised at the improvement in quality in images
you thought were OK, it really does what it says, it really enhances your
images. Akvis also provide comprehensive tutorials on their site which are well
worth a look if only to see what can be done with this software.
Excellent software again from Akvis and highly recommended. Note that the
Home/plugin version does not support the HDRI mode.
