files on your local pc or on a connected network.
When you start the program you are brought to the main screen, and offered
spaces for what you are looking for, where to look and instead of only being
able to select one folder to look in you can add multiple folders which is nice
if you don't know where a file is and yet don't want to search your whole PC.
Like the standard windows search tool, you can choose to search by file size and
date or for files containing a certain block of text. The one thing this program
has over the windows search tool is a bit of speed. It does seem to be a bit
faster then windows file search when given the same search query.
While there isn't a lot of frill to this program its all right, functional and
all in all not a bad replacement for windows search.
The price here is off putting, for the little bit of speed gain but there is a
help file if for some odd reason you should need it.
