X-Backup is a tool for backing up and restoring files and
folders, or even your whole system.
When you start to use the program you create an image of what you want to back
up. You are guided through the process by a wizard which gives you options like
compress the backup file, split it in to portions or even encrypt it.
Then performing backups is as easy as flipping to the backup tab and clicking
the backup button. I won't butter your bread any here, the backup process is
SLOW especially for a full drive. When I did an individual folder, the speed was
okay but if you plan to do a full backup and speed is an issue your going to
have problems here.
This backup program does do its job, but between the speed and the price the
bottom line is you may want to keep looking.
The program is easy enough to use, and there is a help file if you need it but
in the final analysis the best word to describe this program is merely
'adequate'.
