Windows XP Registry Cleaner is a program for cleaning the windows registry, supposedly. When I downloaded the program they provided it started up with a page to read, and I was immediately thinking "scam". However I clicked a link inside their little guide and got to download the program.

While It was a pain, I did get it installed and it does work at least a bit. It ran a scan of my registry then told me I had a few problems. I then told it to fix the programs and after whining a couple times about me having not bought the full version it did finally fix what it supposedly found.

This program is okay, once you get it installed and offers both registry scan and registry repair even in the trial version. It also includes an option to perform a registry backup should you need to do so. All in All the program in mediocre, it doesn't find much, its a pain to install and it begs you one too many times to register.

If you need to install a registry cleaner, this one is okay as long as you don't have high expectations for it.
