The installation of To-Do DeskList is easy and intuitive, you
can place the program files where you want them. You also are given the choice
as to whether or not you want a desktop icon.
When you first open To-Do DeskList you get a nag screen telling you that you are
in a trial period. The trial period is 15 days, fair enough. Then you to
settings wizard. The next screen offers to setup with you Hotkeys so that you
can easily use To-Do DeskList. The next one helps you setup some more settings.
Ok here is the deal. You add a thing to do by either using a Hot Key or by right
clicking the To-Do DeskList in your system tray. You give the to do thingy a
name, such as "Buy Grocieries", then there is a place to put in a list of the
groceries. After you do that you will see (in my case, the default) in the
bottom right part of your screen a small window with your two do things. They go
away when you switch to another Window. To see them agin you right click the
To-Do DeskList icon in the system tray.
In conclusion To-Do DeskList is a nice little application that can really help
you keep your act together. I heartily recomend it.
