Wincatalog Standard is a program for creating a catalog of all the content on your drives and removable media.

You start the program and your brought to the main screen, from which you can add, remove and update information upon what has been added to Wincatalog. Everything is fairly simple here, you click add and select what to catalog, then the program does its scan and returns a list which you can then update with additional information as you see fit.

The nice thing about this is once you've cataloged something you no longer need to put a disk in to the drive to be able to view a list of whats on it. I personally am notorious for not labeling my backup disks very well so something like this does have its perks.

However, when we start talking about perks, price is not one of them the tag here is just too much for a simple cataloging program no matter how well it is cleaned up. If you want to give it a try, go ahead if your looking for something to buy keep looking there are cheaper alternatives.
