Canasta is a game of collecting cards and making melds, with a bonus for Canasta, which is a meld of 7 cards. 5000 points wins the game.

The cards are dealt and the following cycle is repeated until one player has no cards or stock is empty. A player takes 2 cards from the stock or all of the discards, then makes new melds, or adds to existing melds, then discards, and turn shifts to next player. When you take the discard pile you must take the whole thing, and make a meld from the top card. When the round is over the cards left in your hand count against your score.

You can play this game against the computer or online by hosting a game. There is scoring, animation, card. cardback, color, dealing, game, message, microphone, mouse, music, online, opponent, player, quickset, rule, screen, sound, and speech preference menus. The game keeps score for you.
