Program Protector is a program for preventing programs from being used without a password. It does this by simply not allowing the program to be executed at all without someone knowing the password.

You can enter different passwords for different programs, and add them to the list to be protected by simply dragging and dropping programs in to the main screen. This type of software could be useful if you don't want to bother with full parental or administrator controls and only need to keep certain programs locked out. After all it would be a bit hard for a inexperienced 5 or 6 year old to do much more then play games and use existing applications if they couldn't access the web browser. Not to underestimate kids, they are inventive, but I believe you see my point.

The program rings in at around $30 which is fair for what the program does. Its simple, and intuitive to use and everything is just where I expected to find it when I opened the program.
