In the last ten years astronomers have discovered over 150 planets beyond our own solar system. But sadly, with today's technology there are no direct images of these distant worlds. Planet Quest is this company's artistic vision of what these worlds might look like.

This screensaver is truly gorgeous. Set against a background of different star fields, are beautifully rendered planets, showing reflections from their suns, and many other objects. These are not known space locations, which does not detract from their beauty at all.

You can show framerate, allow exit only on using the escape key, allow monitor power saving, show time, use low power mode when battery in use, and low detail. You can set crossfade duration, or select time to create a new scene. And you can choose from a bunch of screen elements, such as stars, suns, comets, more than 1 sun, lens flares, and much more. Also you can save the currently shown image to your desktop as wallpaper. You can play no music, or play theme music, play selected song or playlist from your own music.
