This new version has made a great leap forward in the search area. Now it has built in it's own database of books so that when you search your results are really fast.

Let me walk you through the process of adding new books, first of all you click on either the icon or the File item under edit to add new books, you can pick either manual or automatically. Lets pick automatically, then you get to a new screen that lets you add books by either scanning the barcode or manually typing in the name and author or the ISBN number. Here is what I do, I add them by typing in the information, then click on the Add to Que button. After I have entered in a number of new books I click on Search All. In a matter of seconds Collectorz.com Book Collector Pro will have done a search on my added books and will then give me choices of places where I can add the data about the book (of course the data I want is the best description of the contents of the book).

There are lots of features in Collectorz.com Book Collector Pro that make this software perfect for everyone's needs. You can keep track of books you have lent out, classify books by genre, record the cost of the book, where you bought the book, cover price, current value. Also stuff like have you read the book, date read, personal notes.
