When I first read the instructions they kept talking about
guessing a word, and that made me think this game was totally different than it
is.
It's like Boggle, only you put the letters where you want. There is an alphabet
printed on the right side and you can use any letter as often as you like. You
can form words from right to left, left to right, up or down or diagonally. But
it's not as easy as it sounds. You must put a letter on the grid, and submit a
word. So if you are going for a longer word, you need to find some smaller words
while you set yourself up.
There is a bar on the bottom, and for every word you submit, it goes further
toward the end, and when you fill the bar, you go to the next level. Each level
starts with one word in the middle. Of course you get more points for longer
words.
This game would be great for the whole family, but it would really be great for
the kids to teach them about spelling and words. There is an autosave feature
that is nice, you can play for a few minutes and come back and take it up where
you left off.
