Sonar detector simulation implemented as screensaver that can turn any PC into a fabulous sonar outpost, watching for the objects at surface and under water in some coastal zone.

It displays all detected objects, ocean and terrain noises, contour map and grid marks. Every detected object can be supplied with a marker - small box with brief object information, like its class, identifier, movement direction and velocity. It shows you more than I can tell you, you need to check it out.

You can set the traffic intensity, set the beam rotation, enable 8 elements, set sound volume, enable beeps, set for daytime only, enable underwater sounds, enable whale sounds, enable screw sounds, and display noise effects. You can change the color of the beam, grid, markers, and text, and enable cyclic on any or all of them, and enable synchronized color cycling. You can change desktop settings, and set animation smoothness. And you can leave a message, choose the style, show approximate return time, show minimum return time, and enable message to only be shown when screensaver has been started from a shortcut.

The Demo version allows 15 days, after that you must register the program.
