Snagit installs easily, you are given intelligent choices, like where to install, and some program options.

Snagit is the best screen capture tool there is, hands down! I've been using Snagit for many years, plus I've tried others, I've always come back to Snagit.

When you first start Snagit you are told that you have 30 days to try it out. Plus you can look a two different videos, one for new users, another for users that have used Snagit before. I clicked the new user one. It is a great introduction to the features and how to use Snagit. The new version does really incredible things like exports into Powerpoint or

So what does Snagit do? Lots of things, but lets stick with the basics first. With Snagit you can take a screen capture in many ways, you can go for a region, window, full screen, and scrolling window. For more advanced ways how about:
Menu with time delay
Text from window
Record screen video
Images from Web page
Web page (keep links)
Object

The ways that you can then manipulate your captures with Snagit are legendary. Snagit actually contains a fully featured graphics editor! I'll just name a few things that you can do with Snagit. crop, cut out, rotate, resize, add text, blur, add borders, watermark and trim.
