I was looking for an HTML editor that would help me get my web pages up quickly, but would help me get past my HTML rough spots. Agile did an admirable job, with features like audience targeting, built-in HTML standards and syntax coloring. Audience targeting allows you to specify a combination of browsers/HTML standards you want to support. Built-in HTML standards means you don’t have to become an expert, learning hundreds of tags and attributes, just to create a page. Agile supports HTML standards up to HTML 3.2, as well as all of the commonly-used browsers. The syntax coloring, showing different HTML tags (or groups of tags) in different colors, really makes Agile special. The coloring is done as you type, making the code easy to read. Mis-typed or incorrect tag names are flagged as they are entered, an invaluable aid for a relative HTML newbie like me!

Agile features a user-configurable interface, which makes the program work YOUR way. The authors of the program made a point of not making this a WYSIWYG editor, instead choosing to support multiple browser configurations for the widest possible audience appeal. Agile is a high-quality HTML authoring tool that will be useful to web developers at any level of expertise.
