Backgammon Deluxe is a game that uses checkers or pieces and dice. The player rolls dice to decide the moves. The left die decides the first move then the right. The object of the game is to move all your pieces off of the board before your opponent does. The player must move all their pieces past the bar of the board before they can start taking them off of the board. When a player lands on a space that is occupied by only one of the opponents pieces the opponents piece is moved to the bar and may not be removed unless he rolls the number of space that is open to him (he cannot move to a space that is currently occupied with 2 or more of his opponents pieces). A player may not move to a space that has two or more opponents pieces on that space. A player can have as many of his pieces as he desires in one space.

The program is simple for everyone to learn with the screen aids and help files available. The help files explain the rules very well. On screen aids are helpful when a mistake is made. It will suggest moves and show you how to play the game. The graphics are average but needs to be clearer.
